1. Data controller
REDCONTEL, S.A. de C.V., trading as Red Cricket, with registered address at Calle Rosa Negra No. 159, Col. Molino de Rosas, Alc. Álvaro Obregón, C.P. 01470, Ciudad de México, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under this notice and Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations. 2. Data we collect
Through the contact form we collect your name, email, company (optional), and the message you send us; please do not include sensitive personal data — we neither request nor need it. Through the downloadable-resource forms (templates and guides you can download from the site) we collect the email address you leave us to email you the editable version of the piece, and your IP address — the latter only for the form's anti-bot verification, and it is not stored. While you browse the site we automatically collect your IP address and technical connection data (needed for site security and anti-bot verification) and, only if you accept non-essential cookies, browsing data for analytics. Those analytics cover both this site and the Red Cricket Cloud platform (cloud.redcricket.net): Red Cricket measures both with a single tag container, under the same consent, so the journey is not cut off when you sign up. If you sign up for the Red Cricket Cloud platform, the data of your account is additionally governed by the terms and notice presented at signup. This site is aimed at companies and professionals; we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
3. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes: responding to your contact request; following up commercially on that request; managing the service relationship if you hire us; keeping the site secure; and, if you use one of our resource-download forms, emailing you the file you requested. Secondary purposes: sending you communications about Red Cricket services and news, producing aggregate site-usage analytics (the latter only with your consent via the cookie banner), and, if you checked the corresponding box when downloading a resource, sending you commercial communications from Red Cricket related to that topic. You can opt out of secondary purposes at any time by writing to privacy@redcricket.net, rejecting non-essential cookies, or unchecking that box from the email you receive; opting out does not affect how we handle your request.
4. Providers that process data on our behalf
To operate the site we use providers that process data on behalf of and under instructions from Red Cricket, in their capacity as processors, and not for their own purposes: Cloudflare (site hosting and Turnstile anti-bot verification — IP and technical data), Resend (delivery of the contact-form message to our inbox, and delivery of the requested file to the visitor in the resource-download forms — name, email, company, message, and, for resources, your email and the file sent), Google (analytics via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies, on this site and on the Red Cricket Cloud platform), and, if you checked the commercial-contact box when downloading a resource, HubSpot (managing that commercial relationship — it does not take part in delivering the file, which remains Resend's job alone, and it only receives data if you checked that box — your email address, the record that you accepted this purpose, and the resource you downloaded). Under article 35 of the Law, entrusting processing to a provider is not a transfer and does not require your consent. These companies are U.S. companies and may process the data on servers located outside Mexico; Cloudflare also operates a global network and serves each visit from the nearest point of presence, which may be in any country where it operates. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties that process it for their own purposes, and we do not sell personal data. If such a transfer ever became necessary, we would update this notice and include the acceptance clause the Law requires before carrying it out. Separately, we may disclose data to competent authorities upon a legally founded and substantiated request, a case the Law itself contemplates in article 36.
5. Your rights (ARCO), revocation and limitation
You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), to revoke your consent, and to limit its use or disclosure. To exercise them, send your request to privacy@redcricket.net with: (a) your name and a means for us to communicate our reply; (b) a document proving your identity or your representative's; (c) a clear and precise description of the data and of the right you want to exercise; and (d) any element that helps locate your data. We will inform you of the determination adopted within a maximum of 20 business days from receipt of your request and, where it is well founded, we will give it effect within the 15 business days following that communication. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, where the circumstances of the case so warrant, which we would notify you. Exercising these rights is free of charge; we could only charge you justified shipping or reproduction costs. If you consider that your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, you may turn to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance), the competent authority under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses cookies. Non-essential ones (analytics) are only activated if you accept them in the banner on your first visit. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie set on the .redcricket.net domain and valid for 12 months, so it also applies to the Red Cricket Cloud platform (cloud.redcricket.net), where analytics is loaded through the same container and under the same consent. You can change or withdraw it by clearing redcricket.net cookies in your browser. See the Cookie Policy for details on what is stored, why, and how to control it.
7. Retention and security
Emails left in a resource-download form are kept for 24 months from receipt, reviewed and deleted every six months — in the inbox where they are received and, if you opted into commercial communications, also in the tool we use to manage them. We keep other contact data for as long as needed to handle your request and its follow-up, and afterwards as required by applicable legal retention periods. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data.
8. Changes to this notice and language
We may update this notice; changes are published on this page with their date. If a change materially affects purposes or transfers, we will notify you through the last contact channel you gave us before it takes effect. The Spanish (Mexico) version of this notice governs; versions in other languages are courtesy translations.
