Getting started

Create your Red Cricket Cloud account, secure it with two-factor authentication, invite your team, and decide where to start.

This guide covers the full path from sign-up to having your team working inside the platform. It takes a few minutes and requires no installation: Red Cricket Cloud does not ask you to deploy agents on your machines.

Create your account

Sign-up is self-service and asks for no card. You start with a 30-day trial on the plan you pick.

  1. 1

    Open the sign-up form

Go to cloud.redcricket.net/en/register. If you arrive from a specific plan on the site, the form comes with that plan preselected.

  2. 2

    Enter your company details

Company name, your full name, and your email address. The company name is your organization's name inside the platform, and your team will see it.

  3. 3

    Choose your plan

Starter, Growth, or Enterprise. The plan defines which modules and limits you get — it can be changed later from Billing, so it is not an irreversible decision.

  4. 4

    Create the account

You receive an email to set your password. That creates your organization, with you as its administrator.

Set your password

The sign-up email — and the invitation email, if someone added you to an existing organization — takes you to a screen where you set your password for the first time. It must be at least 8 characters.

You can change it whenever you want under Settings → Security. If you forget it, the *Forgot your password?* link on the sign-in screen emails you a link to set a new one.

Turn on two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a temporary code on top of your password. It is the change that raises account security the most for the least effort, and we recommend turning it on before inviting anyone else.

  1. 1

    Go to Settings → Security

You will find the *Two-factor authentication (2FA)* section there.

  2. 2

    Scan the QR code

Use an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password, among others. If you cannot scan, the screen also shows the code so you can enter it manually.

  3. 3

    Confirm with a 6-digit code

The app generates the code; you enter it once and verification is active. From then on it is requested at sign-in.

Invite your team

Only organization administrators can invite people and see the team. If you do not see the section, ask whoever administers your organization for access.

  1. 1

    Go to Settings → Team

You will see the list of people with access and the *Invite a teammate* form.

  2. 2

    Enter name, email, and role

The role can be Administrator or User. The difference is explained in Concepts.

  3. 3

    Send the invitation

The person shows as *Pending* until they accept and set their password; then they become *Active*. If the invitation gets lost, you can resend it from the same table.

Change the language

The platform is available in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, and German. Language is a per-person preference, not an organization setting: change it under Settings → Profile and it affects no one else on your team.

Where to start

If you are not sure what to open first, this is the order we recommend. Each step produces something usable even if you do not move on to the next.

  1. 1

    Vendor Risk

Load your vendors and send the first questionnaire. Recipients answer by link, with no account required. It is the module that soonest produces something you can show a client or an auditor.

  2. 2

    Email Authentication

Add your main domain. The guided DMARC setup tells you exactly which record to copy into your DNS.

  3. 3

    Compliance Posture

Pick the framework you are being asked for — ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR — and work through the checklist. The maturity score tells you where you stand before you commit to a date with anyone.
